A scientist’s work is never finished. after proving or disproving a hypothesis, it’s common for scientists to conduct additional experiments to further advance their hypothesis or expand their findings. using the same materials our wok is to make conclusions in the world of chemistry , to expand our knowledge or to develop the conclusion.

Therefore, when sulfurous, sulfuric, and nitric acids in polluted air and rain react with the calcite in marble and limestone, the calcite dissolves.

Also, we now have a conclusion, Limestones are sensitive to acid.

Common chemical reaction of acid affecting limestone,

H2SO4 + CaCO3 ⇄ H20 + CaSO4 + CO2,

CaSO4 (Calcium Sulphate) is soluble in water, and hence the reaction releases CO2 (Carbon dioxide) in the atmosphere, which then affect limestone.

Darin skateboarded to the north at 4 m/s. In 5 seconds, he sped up to 7 m/s. What was his acceleration?
Julli [10]
To solve this problem we can use following equation.

v =u + at

Where v is the final velocity (m/s), u is the initial velocity (m/s), a is the acceleration (m/s²) and t is the time taken (s).

v = 7 m/s
u = 4 m/s
a = ?
t = 5 s

By applying the equation, we can get
    7 m/s = 4 m/s + a x 5 s
    3 m/s = a x 5 s
          a = 0.6 m/s²

Hence, the acceleration is 0.6 m/s² towards north.

Answer is "C".

How can chloroform dissolve in water? Include information about molecular shape and polarity.
suter [353]

Answer:

You can dissolve about 1g of chloroform in a 100g of water; slightly less if the water is hot. This would not generally be considered 'soluble', but it's not entirely negligible either, depending on your purposes. chloroform is insoluble in water since it does not have any hydrophillic groups.

hope this helps you uwu

Molar mass of carbon
Taya2010 [7]

Answer: 12.011g/mol

Explanation: The molar mass of any element is usually stated at the bottom of periodic table (depending of your table anyways). Remember that the periodic table speaks to you in moles so every molar mass under the element is for 1 mole. By this I mean for example, 1 mole of Carbon = 12.011g of Carbon.
