War terrorism refers to when nations or nations and rebel bodies are at war and one of them engages in actions that deliberately targets the civilians of either nation in order to instill fear and pressure the government to surrender.

Britain hates war terrorism because her citizens have been victims of it when the Irish were fighting for their independence. The Irish Republican Army would bomb places in Britain which led to mass casualties. The British therefore stand against war terrorism to reduce civilian deaths.
