Algae living on a sloth is considered an example of mutualism because both of them benefit from each other.

Mutualism is one of the symbiotic relationships in which both the two species living together benefit in one way or another. A considerable example of such a relationship is between algae and a sloth.

The algae provide camouflage to the sloth and protect it from predators while the sloth provides shelter to the algae for its growth. The sloth also gets nutrition from algae which perform photosynthesis and synthesize food.

Another mutual relationship is observed between the aphids and ants. Aphids produce honeydew as a waste product of their diet which is consumed by ants. While ants protect the aphids from predators and parasites.

Carbon forms the backbone of DNA, which present in most of the cells present in the human body. Carbon is also present in the sugar molecules your body uses for energy. We consume carbon from the food we eat, and release it back into the environment when we exhale.

<h3>Hydrogen  :</h3>

Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, and is also the smallest element. It makes up about 9 percent of the total weight of the human body. A person who weighs 170 pounds gets about 15 pounds of that weight from hydrogen. Two hydrogen atoms are present in every water molecule. Hydrogen is found in many other biological molecules in the human body. The present of hydrogen atoms on a fatty acid molecule determines if the fat is saturated or not.

<h3>Other Abundant Elements  :</h3>

Beyond these three elements, the next three elements that occur in greatest abundance in the human body are nitrogen, calcium and phosphorous. Together, these elements make up about six percent of the total weight of the human body. Nitrogen is found in the proteins, while calcium and phosphorous have their greatest concentrations in your bones and teeth. Phosphorous is also present in the DNA chain and is an essential component to the membranes enclosing your cells.

Answer: Like humans, dogs need to keep themselves cool to protect their bodies. They do sweat, but not in the same way. They only have sweat glands only on the paw pads and nose leather. Since they are covered with fur, it is more challenging to keep their bodies cool.

After your dog runs around, you will notice that he begins to pant heavily. Dogs rely on panting to keep their bodies cool. Panting causes the evaporation of water from the nasal cavity, tongue, throat and lungs, which helps lower their body temperature.

They also experience the same dilation in blood vessels as humans, which brings blood to the surface of the skin, allowing the air in the environment to cool them.

Any dog is at risk for heat-related problems, especially in warm, humid weather. Our brachycephalic friends are at a much greater risk than their long-nosed counterparts. Large breeds with thick coats, such as Bernese Mountain dogs or Pyrenees are also more prone. Dogs with pre-existing heart conditions or respiratory issues are also more likely to be overcome by the heat.

When these dogs pant to try and cool themselves, they have to work harder to do so. This only raises their body temperature even higher, making it worse instead of better.
