The acceleration of the masses is 3.27 m/s², and the tension in the string when the masses are released is 39.24 N.

<h3>Acceleration of the masses</h3>

The acceleration of the masses is calculated as follows;

m₂g - m₁g = m₂a

g(m₂ - m₁) = m₂a

where;

  • m₂ is the mass of 12 kg
  • m₁ is the mass of 8 kg
  • g is acceleration due to gravity
  • a is acceleration of the masses

9.8(12 - 8) = 12a

39.2 = 12a

a = 39.2/12

a = 3.27 m/s²

<h3>Tension in the string</h3>

The tension in the string is calculated as follows;

T = m₂a

T = 12(3.27)

T = 39.24 N

Thus, the acceleration of the masses is 3.27 m/s², and the tension in the string when the masses are released is 39.24 N.

What are some forces acting on you now that you can't see? PLS HELP!!!!!!
RideAnS [48]

also displayed the effects of sound being an invisible force of our world. Sound are frequencies. Different frequencies shape matter differently as you’ve seen.

Now, the human ear can only hear frequencies to a certain extent. When you take a hearing test at the doctors, they test your hearing by playing different tones (frequencies) in your ear. As people get older they will not be able to hear higher frequencies.

If a gas is heated up, how does this affect the motion of its particles?
crimeas [40]
In gases, temperature relates to its kinetic energy — the hotter the gas, the faster the particles will move (for example, if we take that the formula of kinetic energy is Ek = 3/2 * k * T where k iz Boltzmanns constant and T is temperature, we see that kinetic energy — which is the energy an object has when its moving — only really depends on the temperature.)

Name 2 bases with double c-n rings
Nimfa-mama [501]
These are adenine and guanine. Purines adenine and guanine are double ringed structures that make up DNA. Purines have a characteristic double-ring structure composed of carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen atoms. Each of purine's rings contain two nitrogen atoms making up a total of four within the double ringed structure. The remaining five positions within the rings are occupied by carbon atoms. The purine ring is encircled by hydrogen atoms which can be replaced by other atoms or groups of atoms to form different purines.
