Plz answer this questoin! will give brainliest!
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

25,

8:5

4:3

Step-by-step explanation:

you have to model it as a system of equations.

first, we know there are a total of 65 children, boys and girls. so

65 = b + g

we also know there are 15 more boys than girls so

b = g + 15

now, we can plug the second equation into the first to get

65 = (g+15)+g

so

2g = 50, g = 25

if g = 25, b must = 40, because it is g+15.

the ratio will be 40 boys to 25 girls. 40:25 or 8:5 if you simplify.

if there are 5 more girls, g = 25+5 = 30, so the ratio is 40:30 or 4:3.

What is the price per oz to the nearest cent of the least expensive: 15 oz for $4.56 or 25 oz for $5.98?
Vilka [71]
For the first one the price per ounce is:
$4.56/15oz=0.304 dollars per ounce, which rounds to 0.3

For the second:
$5.98/25oz=0.2392 dollars per ounce, which rounds to 0.24

The second is the cheapest price per ounce and rounds to $0.24/oz so 0.24 is the answer

What is the answer to y = 0.0793x + 31.3
SIZIF [17.4K]

Answer:

a line  :P

Step-by-step explanation:

This is the slope intercept form of a line.

the formula is.....

y = mx + b

so that equations will make a line... that goes through 31.5 as it passes over the y axis... in a Cartesian graph...  hmmmmm  do they want you to draw it?

It would be hard to draw b/c of the 0.079  slope part.. but.. it's very very slightly going up hill... from 31.5....

I need help with this problem, i am confused and don't know what to do.
klasskru [66]

Problems a through c are asking you what the values would be at those values.

What will the value of f(x) be at x=0? Let's look at the graph.

It seems at x=0, f(x)=0, meaning that f(0)=0

Let's do the same for the others.

At x=-3, f(-3)=2

At x=2, f(2)=-4

For the last question, it is giving us the f(x) value and asking us which x values would give us that.

At f(x)=3, x=-2.

*Note* this function is continuous to the right, meaning that there is another point where f(x)=3.

Hope this helps.

頑張って!
