The hydronium ion molarity if the ph of a solution is 6.62 will be 3.02 × 10⁻⁷ M

pH of solution = 6.62

Hydronium ion molarity = ?

The formulae for pH is:

   pH = -log [H⁺]

we will find out the hydronium ion molarity by using the above equation

  6.62 = -log [H⁺]

We have to find out the hydronium ion molarity; so change the place of the log to another side of the equation.

As we know that when we change the place of log to other side of the equal to sign we change log to antilog

   H⁺ = antilog (-6.52)

   H⁺ = 3.02 × 10⁻⁷ M

the hydronium ion molarity if the ph of a solution is 6.62 will be 3.02 × 10⁻⁷ M

How many grams of nacl are in 250 g of a 15.0% (by weight) solution?
Gelneren [198K]

Answer: -

37.5 g of NaCl are in 250 g of a 15.0% (by weight) solution.

Explanation: -

Total mass = 250 g

Percentage of NaCl = 15.0 %

= \frac{Number of grams of NaCl present}{total mass}

Thus \frac{15}{100} = \frac{Number of grams of NaCl present}{250g}

Number of grams of NaCl present = \frac{15 x 250g}{100}

= 37.5 g

Consider 70.0-g samples of two different compounds consisting of only sulfur and oxygen. One of the compounds consists of 35.0 g
Mariana [72]

Answer:

1 : 1.5

Explanation:

First Sample;

Ratio of sulfur and Oxygen

Mass of sulfur : Mass of oxygen

Mass of oxygen = Mass of sample - Mass of sulfur = 70 - 35 = 35g

35g : 35g

1 : 1

Second Sample;

Ratio of sulfur and Oxygen

Mass of sulfur : Mass of oxygen

Mass of oxygen = Mass of sample - Mass of sulfur = 70 - 28 = 42g

28g : 42g

1 : 1.5

Further reducing it to make oxygen 1;

0.6667 : 1

ratio in whole numbers of the masses of sulfur that combine with 1.00 g of oxygen between the two compounds;

0.6667 : 1

1 : 1.5

A general change, such as increasing or decreasing numbers
Blababa [14]

c)pattern

Explanation:

A general change such as increasing or decreasing numbers is called a pattern. A pattern shows a structured way of implementing a change.

  • Patterns can be a form of increment in values by adding a particular number at intervals.
  • It can be a division, multiplication or subtraction of a consistent number.
  • Patterns can provide insight into understanding a number system or a group of numbers.
  • Sequences are usually derived from patterns.
