The statement that shifting attention to a particular location in space requires that we move our eyes to fixate that location is false.

Human beings have several visionary and olfactory receptors that work in combination to send stimuli to brain and then the brain perceives the image of the object if it has encountered it before or saves the stimuli signal if it is new for the brain. Dorsolateral prefrontal right cortex is considered as the most effective region involved in time perception. Human vision is an active process that involves shifting attention across the visual scene, with or without movement of the eyes. Such shifts of attention can be generated endogenously at will or it can also be triggered automatically that is it can be generated in response to exogenous stimuli including socially relevant cues such as someone else's view. It is observed that the knowledge of the world around us depends on three basic processes which are called as sensation, attention, and perception. These processes are highly interrelated and so they are often considered as different elements of the same process, called cognition.

kompoz [17]

Answer:

c) illogical thinking.

Explanation:

Illogical thinking: The term illogical thinking is defined as the specific use of logical things or bugs in leading rationalization exercise.

In an illogical thinking, an individual or client is asked to demonstrate a particular behavior whether his or behavior or someone else's behavior. If the client's reasoning is intelligible and rational overall, then a small logical bug sticks together as a sore thumb.

In the question above, the cognitive theorists would say that her depression results in large part from illogical thinking.

Answer:

The sleeper effect.

Explanation:

As the exercise presents, Jamie heard about a divorce that was published in the RAG MAG, which she does not believe is very reliable. However, over time, she forgot where she heard about the divorce. The fact that she later came to believe the story was true is known as the sleeper effect. The sleeper effect is, as suggested, a psychological phenomenon that relates to persuasion. It is a delayed increase of the effect of a message that is accompanied by a discounting cue. So, in this case, Jamie heard statement X from place A. After some time, she forgot where she had heard it, but the information (statement X) remained in her mind.
