Bruno’s father says, “Accept the situation in which you find yourself and everything will be so much easier.” What is the danger

in that statement?

The danger with this statement is that if you don't like the situation in which your find yourself and you accept it, then the situation will never get better. Since this pertains to the Holocaust, many people just accepted what was happening to the Jews rather than do something about it. Many Jews just accepted what was happening to them in order to make things easier, but their lives became worse.
