Which force is the strongest and why?

Chemistry

The strongest force is arguably the strong nuclear force. This force is responsible for binding the smallest components of matter together, the protons and neutrons that make up the nucleus of an atom.

The strong nuclear force is strong enough to overcome the electromagnetic repulsion between protons and thus hold the nucleus together.

The strong nuclear force is 10³⁸th power times stronger than the electromagnetic force.

This means that it is one of the strongest known forces in the universe, and is even stronger than gravity.

The strong nuclear force is also responsible for fusing atoms in nuclear reactions, such as the fusion of hydrogen to form helium in stars.

This force is what makes stars shine and gives them incredible amounts of energy.

Which substance is most soluble in water? <br> 1) (NH4)3PO4<br> 2)Cu(OH)2<br> 3) AG2SO4<br> 4) CACO3
ivann1987 [24]

Answer: Option (1) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

When dissolved in water, ammonium phosphate (NH_{4})_{3}PO_{4} completely dissociates into ions and it gets attached to the opposite ends of water.

Therefore, it is soluble in water.

Whereas silver sulfate (Ag_{2}SO_{4}) slightly dissolves into water as it gives very less Ag^{+} ions. Therefore, silver sulfate has low solubility.

On the other hand, both Ca(OH)_{2} and CaCO_{3} are insoluble in water.

Thus, we can conclude that out of the given options, (NH_{4})_{3}PO_{4} is most soluble in water.

A wave of infrared light has a speed of 6 m/s and a wavelength of 12 m. What is the frequency of this wave?
andreev551 [17]

Answer: The frequency of the wave is 0.5 hertz.

Explanation:

\nu =\frac{c}{\lambda }

\nu = Frequency of the wave

c = speed of the light in m/s

\lambda = Wavelength of the wave.

Here in question we are given with speed of the infrared light. So, we will replace the value of speed of light(c) from the given value of the speed of the infrared light.

Speed of infrared light = 6 m/s

\nu =\frac{\text{speed of infrared light}}{\lambda }=\frac{6 m/s}{12 m}=0.5 hertz

The frequency of the wave is 0.5 hertz.

Pachacha [2.7K]
1. So 27.3 g Fe is 0.4911 mol (27.3 / 55.58). 45.8 g O is 2.862 mol. Because of the stoichiometry, 3/4 as much oxygen as iron gets consumed. For the 0.4911 mol Fe consumed, 0.3683 mol O is consumed. 2.862-0.3863 = 2.4757 mol, or 39.6 g O is left.

2. Hydrogen is the limiting reactant for these quantities. 2/3 as much ammonia is produced as hydrogen is consumed, so for 5.0 mol H2, that's 3.33 mol NH3.
