A human cell has 46 total (23 pairs of) chromosomes. following mitosis, the daughter cells would each have a total of 46 chromosomes. After meiosis I, the two daughter cells would have 23 chromosomes, and after meiosis II 23 chromosomes.

Chromosomes- The thread-like components known as chromosomes are found in the nucleus of both animal and plant cells. Protein and a single molecule of deoxyribonucleic acid make up each chromosome (DNA). DNA is passed down from parents to children and includes the precise instructions that give each kind of living thing its individuality.

An example of a chromosome is the "X" or "Y" gene, which determines whether you will be a male or a girl.

A geneticist is studying a disease trying to determine how its inherited. DNA testing was completed on three generations of a fa
Anton [14]

Answer:

X-linked recessive inheritance

Explanation:

Since the disease is primarily present in males vs females, it is a s.ex linked disease.

In X-linked recessive inheritance, males tend to get disease b/c they only have one x (the other is y) which means if they get the bad "x" copy from mom then they definetely will get the disease.

Females can be carriers b/c they are XX. If they get a good copy from mom and suppose a bad copy from dad, they can still be healthy b/c the good copy is dominant. They will be carriers (cuz they have the bad copy) but themselves wont have the disease.

2 . Rh factor: An inherited protein found on the surface of the red blood cell membrane

3 . hemophilia: A hereditary condition for bleeding due to the inability to clot properly

4 . holandric gene: A gene located on the Y chromosome in XY species

Explanation:

Codominance occur when a pure breeding White flower crosses with a pure breeding Red flower and gives PINK offspring

Rhesus Factor is an antigen that appears on the surface of red blood cells. it is an important factor to consider during blood transfusion.

Hemophilia is a sex-linked condition where the sufferer is unable to have a blood clot.

Holandric gene can ONLY be passed from males (carriers of XY chromosomes) to their sons

What can help this rescue dog and firefighters find fearful people and pets stuck in buildings that are on fire? [10]
oksian1 [2.3K]

Distress vocalizations can help this rescue dog and firefighters find fearful people and pets stuck in buildings that are on fire

Distress vocalizations are sounds produced in the presence of painful, stressful, or threatening stimuli.

Mammalian vocalizations are the product of respiratory and laryngeal activities under the direct control of brain stem cranial and spinal motor neurons and modulated by higher brain processes.

Vocalizations offer the further promise of unique informational content about the emotional state of the subject. There is evidence that the form, contexts, and neural processes which modulate distress vocalizations are highly conserved between species.
