if Timothy uses 20 inches of yarn for knitting yard every 5 minutes, then we can divide the total time in this time so in 1 hour are 60 minutues so:

\frac{60}{5}=12

Then he has to use:

20\cdot12=240

Find the simple interest earned by each account. $1,200 principal at 5.5% interest for 25 years
zhuklara [117]

Answer:

The simple interest is $1650

Step-by-step explanation:

Simple Interest = PRT/100

where p = principal, r = rate and t = time

p = $1200, r = 5.5%, and t = 25 years

SI = (1200*5.5*25)/100

SI = 12*5.5*25

SI = $1650

A football team gained 9 yards on one play and then lost 22 yards on the next.Write a sum of integers to find theoverral change
anastassius [24]

Answer:

-13 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

Estimating that we start off on the middle line, we could solve this by simply looking at a number line. Moving 9 yards ahead would put us at 9. But moving  back 22 would place us at a negative number. An easy way of doing this is subtracting 9 from 22:

22 - 9 = 13

But, we already know that since the answer is to the left of zero, it will be a negative number. So we flip the sign to get -13 yards.
