Animated books are interesting. Graphic novels frequently give students the extra support they need to get through a text, especially for reluctant readers.

Text and images work well together to provide context for stories that young readers would not otherwise fully understand. A format, not a genre, is what graphic novels are. Fiction, nonfiction, history, fantasy, or any combination thereof can be found in graphic novels.

Graphic novels, as opposed to comic books, typically feature distinct stories with more intricate themes. A graphic novel can also be a compilation of short stories that have previously been released as standalone comics.

What does the following allusion reference? Do research if needed.
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

a) The Rivers Styx, Archeron, Phlegethon that flow through the underworld

Explanation:

The Rivers Styx, Archeron and Phlegethon mentioned in this text are three of the five rivers that are believed by the Greek to separate the earth from the underworld.

They are not Roman cities as in option B

Option C is incorrect because they are not stars and are not associated with wealth, fame, and power. Rather, Phlegethon is a river of fire, Acheron, a river of peril, and Styx is a river that is void of love .

Option D is incorrect because Hercules never faced them.

musickatia [10]

One will believe that Rowlandson actually choose this reference in her allusion in order to show that she is leaving her dead child behind while leaving to answer God's call just like Lot's wife leaving her possession in Sodom while leaving Sodom as instructed by God.

What is allusion?

Allusion is actually known to be a figure of speech which is used to talk about a situation or someone by making a relatable reference to another thing.

So, we see that Rowlandson actually saw herself leaving her dead daughter behind while going forward to answer God's call. This was similar to what happened to Lot's wife.
