Horsetails and ferns are the closest living relatives to seed plants and are thought to be the closest relatives of seed plants.

A spermatophyte, as known or named at another time or place phanerogam or phaenogam, is a plant that produces sources, therefore the alternative name is seed plant. Spermatophytes are a subdivision of embryophytes or land plants.

The two bigger types of seed plants are the gymnosperms (sources in cones) and angiosperms(sources in ovaries of flowers). Horsetail is generally expended in the form of a beverage, that is created by steeping the drained spice in a jam. It's too feasible in capsule and coloring form. Horsetail is a bush that holds many advantageous compounds, especially antioxidants and silica.

suppose you have the monohybrid pea plants in your garden and find that they produce round seed to wrinkled seeds in the ration
Arisa [49]

Answer;

The correct answer would be Rr.

In a monohybrid cross, the phenotype ratio of 3:1 is obtained only when both the parents are heterozygous for the trait.

In this condition, the heterozygous genotype would be Rr. The phenotype of both the parents would be round seeds (R) as the round is a dominant trait.

The cross of these parents would produce offspring with three types of genotypes RR, Rr, and rr in ratio 1:2:1.

Thus, the phenotypic ratio would come out to be 3 (round seed):1 (wrinkled seed).

Which of the following statements is FALSE regarding glycolysis?
tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

B) Glycolysis involves the oxidation of NADH to produce NAD.

Explanation:

Glycolysis is the common step of aerobic and anaerobic respiration. It includes splitting of a glucose molecule into two molecules of pyruvate. During the redox reactions of glycolysis, NAD+ serves as an electron acceptor.

Reduction of NAD+ during glycolytic reactions produces NADH which in turn is oxidized back through oxidative phosphorylation in aerobic respiration.

The entry of one glucose molecule into glycolysis and its splitting into pyruvate uses a total of 2 molecules of NAD+ as the electron acceptor and produces 2 molecules of NADH.
