The measure of < BAP in the figure of the circle is 30 degrees

How to find < BAP

< ACB covers same angle as < APB

therefore

< ACB = < BAP = 120

complete the line PB to form another radius. since radius of a circle are equal, an isosceles triangle is created

Isosceles triangle has a unique property of 2 equal equal sides and equal base angles. one of the angles of the isosceles triangle is < BAP

solving with the new triangle APB

< BAP = < PBA (base angles of isosceles triangle)

< BAP + < PBA + 120 = 180

2 < BAP = 180 - 120

2 < BAP = 60

< BAP = 30 degrees

Is the difference between two negative numbers numbers is always negative.
Lorico [155]
Yes. Think of it like this. You borrowed $1 from your friend for a candy bar. You now have -$1 because you owe your friend money. If you ask your friend for another $5 because you found another thing you wanted you have -$6. When you already have a negative, you are subtracting even more from that, which brings you to an even higher negative number

The campus bookstore knows from the past several semesters that a certain elementary statistics book has a demand that is approx
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

$117

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

They buy these books for $105 each and sell them to unsuspecting undergraduates at $222 each

Marginal Profit = Marginal Revenue – Marginal Cost.

Marginal Profit = $222 - $105

Marginal Profit = $117

the marginal profit for a single elementary statistics book $117

For the remaining unsold books in the middle of the semester he bundles them up and sells to vendor in another country for $40 each for which he suffers a marginal loss of $105 - $40 = $65 each
