The correct exponent is 12 for the equivalent expression 5^{12}.

Which are the Power Rules?

Knowing some of the main power rules.

  • Multiplication with the same base: you should repeat the base and add the exponents.
  • Division with the same base: you should repeat the base and subtract the exponents.
  • Power. For this rule, you should repeat the base and multiply the exponents.
  • Exponent negative - For this rule, you should write the reciprocal number with the exponent positive.
  • Zero Exponent. When you have an exponent equal to zero, the result must be 1.

For solving this question, you should apply the power rule - Multiplication with the same base - in the expression

5^{10}*5*5.

Here you have the same base (5), therefore you should repeat the base 5 and add the given exponents (10 +1 +1=12). Thus, the answer will be 5^{12}.

Sorry, I only know 8, 9, and 10.

8. This can be anything, but my guess would be 40 - 20 = 20
9. 3, because 3 x 3 = 9.
10. 7, because 7 x 4 = 28.

Hope this helped!

What is the answer to this
olasank [31]

Three times the variable m minus four is equal to fourteen.

Another way could be:

Four less than three multiplied by m is equivalent to fourteen.

The first way I put it is simpler but if you really want to impress your teacher then I suggest going with the second way.

Also if you are looking to solve the equation then it would be:

3m - 4 = 14

      +4   +4

     ------------

       3m = 18

      -----    -----

         3        3

m = 5

Hope that helped :-)

Math definitely isn't my greatest subject, if anyone knows how to do this and can explain it to me please help!
Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

y-1 = 5/3(x-3)

Choice C

Step-by-step explanation:

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

(3,1) (6,6)

m = (6-1)/(6-3)

m = (5/3)

the point slope form of a line is given by

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

You have point (3,1)

y-1 = 5/3(x-3)

Choice C
