Within the human services profession, when both professionals and clients share common interests, clear boundaries are required to protect themselves, their clients, and the organizations in which they work.

What are the boundaries of social work?

Professional boundaries are a set of guidelines, expectations, and rules that set ethical and technical standards in social care settings. It's an important part of a customer retention strategy that should be established in the early stages of a relationship.

Why are boundaries important in human services?

 • As in all professions, social workers are expected to maintain important boundaries to ensure that the social worker-client relationship remains professional, even when dealing with difficult issues.
 • Relational work can create uncertainty about how you will carry out your roles and responsibilities. The professional boundary helps us understand this and can be described as "the boundary between what is and is not professionally acceptable within and outside of work."
 • However, earning their trust, confidence and respect when working with clients are important skills a social worker must use to facilitate a client's growth or change process.

How many genders are there? Explain... Will mark brainiest for the best answer
diamong [38]

In this day and age, gender has now become personal preference and belief. I personally believe there are only to genders, but according to others there are more. First things first, many people seem to believe sex is what you were born as, or what your genitals are. There are only two sexes, male and female.

Gender, is what many people consider a "social construct". I personally don't believe this, but for the sake of the question let's say it is. Gender is what you believe you are, there are many genders such as agender, non binary, etc. etc.

According to most people, there is an infinite number of genders, but I guess it all comes down to what you believe.

I hope I helped!

Why does the signal of pain move slower than other signals in the body? why does the nervous system allow this lag time, and how
Virty [35]
Pain signals move from peripheral nervous system to the spinal cord and many gates are present in between which regulate these signals. The slow pain signals then move from the spinal cord to the hypothalamus and limbic system. The former releases hormones which are stress-related, the latter is associated with the emotions and feelings related to the same. These signals are slow because they pass through the brain parts which are responsible for the emotions also, which is limbic system and prefrontal cortex. This lag time enables the person to feel the severity of pain and protect from it. For example, the soldier feels less pain because he is attached to the war scenario in a different manner, as compared to the civilian, and therefore, pain signals follow a different pathway, leading to a feeling of comparatively lesser pain and other activities are less affected.
