Some neuroglial cells produce the components of the electrical insulator called Myelin.

What functions do neuroglial cells perform?

A broad class of cells known as neuroglia assist neurons during their growth and metabolism. They are in charge of preserving immune protection and homeostatic regulation in the neurological system.

Glia are non-neuronal cells of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system that do not generate electrical impulses. They are also known as glial cells (gliocytes) or neuroglia.

Glial cells are non-excitable brain tissue cells that cushion, support, and insulate neurons. Neurons. excitable nerve cells are those that can transfer electrical signals and react.

Support cells, or neuroglial cells, work with neurons to help them survive and thrive in their ideal environments.

Analyze the property of water you investigated and provide some real-world applications of the
scoray [572]

Answer:

As the type of investigation is not discussed, lets answer the question generally.

Explanation:

One of the properties of water is that water in the form of ice is less dense as compared to water liquid water. This property of water lets fishes survive in conditions when the temperature is freezing.

The hydrogen bonds in water make the water turn into a vast, honeycomb structure when the temperature is below 4 degrees Celsius. This causes the ice to float on water and the fishes can stay alive in the liquid water underneath the ice.

Since diabetics cannot produce insulin properly, in the diagram, the step “Pancreas releases insulin” wouldn’t happen and because of that, diabetics would not be able to uptake glucose or form lipids/glycogen.

"what factors do you think contribute to animals being exposed to toxins? how can individuals prevent exposure?"
tiny-mole [99]
Depending on whether the animals are in nature or in a home environment, the factors that contribute to animals being exposed to toxins are man-made. Factories contaminate air and water. Combustion from engines pollutes the air. Garbage that is disposed contaminates the air, water and land. Often times, the lure of food for any animal, is what brings the animal into closer human contact, thus increasing the exposure to toxins. For a pet, the home environment and the decisions the pet owner takes to have chemicals like cleaners, fertilizers or pesticides and like motor oil increase exposure to toxins.

Individuals can prevent exposure for themselves and their pets by decreasing the use of motor vehicles, reducing the amount of garbage and trash produced, being a informed consumer who attempts to purchase more organic, Earth and animal friendly goods and services. Boycott corporations which contribute to the decline of the environment and increase exposure to these toxins. Other simpler ways, in environments with smog or other industrial pollutants, wearing clothing that covers most of the body, including breathing masks, gloves and glasses or goggles.
