The human need for fresh water can be met through recycling of used water and New Conservation Technologies while avoiding or reducing environmental impact.

<h3>What is freshwater?</h3>

Fresh water is defined as the type of water that contains low levels of dissolved salt which is suitable for human consumption.

There is great need of fresh water for human use because of the following:

  • Drinking and Household Needs,
  • Recreation.
  • Industry and Commerce.

To meets the need for fresh water for human consumption without affecting the environment negatively the following can be done:

  • Recycling of used water through filtering and treatment processes.

  • The use of water conservation technologies such as rain sensors.
