A pair of the opposite sides of a regular hexagon has equal length,

What is a regular hexagon?

A regular hexagon is defined as a closed shape consisting of six equal sides and six equal angles. The sum of the measure of interior angles of a regular hexagon is 720 degrees.

The total of the interior angles is 180°(n -2), where n is the number of sides of the convex polygon. Thus for a regular polygon of n sides, the interior angles are each.

(180°)(n -2)/n = 180° -(360°/n)

Let us assume the each angle of the hexagon = m

m + m + m + m + m + m = 720°

or, 6 m = 720°

or, m = 720° / 6 = 120°

Hence Each interior angle of the Regular Hexagon is 120°

A pair of the opposite sides of a regular hexagon has equal length,

Billy is building a frame for his father's Garden in the shape of an isosceles trapezoid. The length of the parallel sides are 1
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey There!

So if you didn't know in an isosceles trapezoid the non parallel sides are congruent

So given the base lengths and the perimeter we subtract the given length from the perimeter and divide that by 2

40-10=40

30-14=16

16/2=8

so the lengths of the non parallel sides would be 8 cm and 8 cm

Quadrilateral A'B'C'D' is the image of quadrilateral ABC D under a dilation with a scale factor of 4. c What is the length of se
DENIUS [597]

a dilation with a scale factor of 4, is multiplication by 4 each side, so we need the measure of the side CD and then multiply by 4 to find C'D'

we can notice tht length of CD, is 3 squares, multiplying by 4 the new length is 3x4= 1 2 squares
