Draw an alkyl bromide with proper stereochemistry that can be used to synthesize the given alkene as the exclusive product via a

n E2 reaction. All chiral centers must have four bonds drawn. Does the alkyl bromide drawn give the provided alkene product via an E2 mechanism? Did you take stereochemistry and regiochemistry into account? Does every chiral center have all four bonds drawn

There is a cyclohexane with four methyl groups. Two of them are angled in the direction of the molecule with the darker bond. As a result, one of the bonds in the alkyl bromide's structure should contain bromine.

And this bromine should be facing the other way from the methyl groups, who should be facing toward for an E2 reaction to occur. This is so that an E2 reaction can take place when there is less steric interference in the molecule. An E2 reaction will require a lot more work to complete if the bromine is facing in the same direction as the methyl group. I will instead advocate for an E1 or a replacement product.

A cycloalkane, cyclohexane has the chemical formula C6H12. It is non-polar, cyclohexane. Colorless and combustible, cyclohexane has a characteristic detergent-like stench.

Answer:

\boxed {\boxed {\sf A. \ Change \ in \ state \ of \ matter}}

Explanation:

A physical change occurs when only the physical properties change. They are generally reversible and no new substances are formed.

However, in a chemical change, the chemical structures and properties change, plus new substances are formed.

Let's analyze each answer choice.

1. Change in state of matter

The state of matter is a physical property, so this is a physical change.

2. Precipitate was formed

A precipitate is a solid formed in a liquid solution. This is a new substance and a chemical change.

3. Unexpected change in odor.

A change in odor is a sign of chemical change.

4. Formation of bubbles

Bubbles signify the formation of gas or a new substance.

So, the best answer choice is A. change in state of matter

in sexual reproduction, of each chromosome in a pair has the same genes, how is genetic variety possible?
Sliva [168]

This answer will depend on if you are speaking about asexual reproduction or not.

Variety is possible here because the the product genes are half from the mother and half from the father. So a child might have blue eyes from his mother, but red hair from his father, etc. Different genetic mutations are the initial cause of all differentiation between genes, which are passed down from each generation to the next through this same process.

In Asexual reproduction, all reproductions are essentially clones of the parent, and no genetic variation, other than mutations will occur.

What is the molecular formula of a molecule that has an empirical formula of CH and a molecular mass of 78.11 g
sveticcg [70]

Answer: C6H6

Explanation: Molecular Formula is the molecular mass divided by the empirical formula mass of CH which is C 12and H is 1 so 12 + 1= 13 g CH

Solution:

78.11 g CH / 13 g CH = 6
