The diagram shown relates age with mileage, so to get the mileage at any age,

we trace the age in years to the line of best fit and;

trace horizontally to cut the vertical axis and obtain the overall mileage.

Doing this, we get;

We observe that the overall mileage according to the line is;

The compound inequality 8.00 ≤ x < 9.50 represents all values, x, for which college students are paid hourly as teacher assis
Orlov [11]

Answer: x≥ 8.00 and x < 9.50 is the correct option.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since, given expression 8.00 ≤ x < 9.50

Where x is the value for which college students are paid hourly as teacher assistants.

so, x is greater than or equal to 8.00

Therefore, x\geq 8.00

And, x is less than 9.50

Therefore,  x < 9.50

On combining both expression we get,  x\geq 8.00 and x < 9.50.

Thus, Third Option is correct.

How can I solve this? 10+x = 5(1/5x + 2)
pshichka [43]
You use PEMDAS. Start by distributing the terms in the parentheses. The isolate the variables. To do that you subtract x from one side of the equation to the other side. You always do the other operation. If it is adding you subtract, if your multiplying your dividing and the other way around. Then you subtract 10 from each side. This equation has many solution because all the terms cancel out.
