After leaving the source of emf, an electron's potential energy is lower.

Describe electromotive force.

The voltage or potential difference of a battery or other electrical energy source is known as the electromotive force. A resistor is where the emf is coming from. The potential energy of an electron will now be higher than the potential energy of an electron before it leaves the source emf.

Now, the potential energy of an electron before leaving the source of electric current will be greater than the potential energy of an electron after leaving the source of electric current because the resistor connected to the source of electric current will reduce the potential energy by converting some of the energy to heat.

Which of the three types of viruses shown above would you expect to include glycoproteins?
Mademuasel [1]
The correct answer is D: I and II only.
Viruses have protein capsids, which protect their genetic material. This capsid sometimes is covered by viral envelopes which have glycoproteins on their surface. Glycoproteins help in the process of binding to the host cell and infecting it. In this example, virus III has the structure of a bacteriophage and it does not seem to have glycoproteins. Bacteriophages use their tail fibers to attach to the bacterial host and inject their genetic material. On the contrary, viruses I and II have glycoproteins sticking out of their envelopes.

How is homeostasis maintained throighout physical activity?
kirza4 [7]

Answer:

Hope it helps

Explanation:

To maintain homeostasis, your body redistributes blood flow. During exercise, blood flow to the nervous system, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, brain and spleen decreases, while blood flow to the musculoskeletal system increases. Metabolic processes generate heat.
