In a multiple regression problem involving two independent variables, if b1 is computed to be +2.0, it means thatthe estimated m

ean of Y increases by 2 units for each increase of 1 unit of X1, without regard to X2.the estimated mean of Y increases by 2 units for each increase of 1 unit of X1, holding X2 constantthe estimated mean of Y is 2 when X1 equals zero.the relationship between X1 and Y is significant.

The solution is y will increase by 2 units with every unit increase in x1

<h3>What do you mean by multiple regression?</h3>

A single dependent variable and several independent variables can be analyzed using the statistical technique known as multiple regression. In order to predict the value of the single dependent value, multiple regression analysis uses independent variables whose values are known.

<h3>What is the difference between multiple and single regression?</h3>

X and Y variables are the sole ones in simple linear regression. Two or more x variables and one y variable make up multiple linear regression. For instance, basic linear regression is used when we forecast rent using only square footage.

In the above question:-

Interpretation of b1=2

it means that y will increase every 2 units for every unit increase in x1

holding x2 constant.

Hence option B is the correct answer.

Troyanec [42]

Answer:

Hello! Sorry about your luck before although im 99% sure my answer is correct.

Answer: area is 180

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok so first starting off im going to calculate the area for each shape serperately and add them up since thats easier so as demonstrated in the picture the rectangle is 25 because i multiply by base × height and the base and height is 5 and 5 pointed in the picture so thats 25 although i didnt calculate the rest because the base and height is the same for each so we can just do 25 × 6 to get all the rectangles so 25 × 6 = 150 now we got the easy part out of the way now we should do the triangles I pointed to the base and height for that on the left the base being 5 and the height being 3 5 × 3 = 15 BUT WAIT this isn't are area for the triangles because when finding area for triangles we have to divide by 2 so... 15 ÷ 2 = 7.5 since there are 4 of those triangles I dont have to solve for the rest because i can just do 7.5 × 4 so...

7.5 × 4 = 30 now we just combine those areas together! so... 150 + 30 = 180 so 180 is our area HOPE THAT HELPS!

The sum of two numbers is twenty-four. The difference of the two numbers is four.
RSB [31]

Answer:

x + y = 24

x - y = 4

Now, add these two equations.

You get,

2x = 28

x =  \frac{28}{2}

x = 14

Given,

x + y = 24

14 + y = 24

y = 24 - 14

y = 10

You can test this to the other equation as well.

x - y = 4

14 - 10 = 4

Hence, the two numbers are 14 and 10.

By selling a cow for Rs 144, there is a profit of the same percentage as its cost price. Find the cost price.
hjlf

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

<h2><u>☼︎</u><u>Answer:</u></h2>

The cost price of cow = Rs.80

Explanation:

<h2><u>☼︎</u><u>Given :-</u></h2>

  • By selling a cow for Rs 144, there is a profit of the same percentage as its cost price.
<h2><u>☼︎</u><u>T</u><u>o Find</u><u>:</u><u>-</u></h2>

  • The cost price.
<h2 /><h2 /><h2><u>☼︎</u><u>L</u><u>e</u><u>t</u><u>:</u><u>-</u></h2>

  • The cost price of cow = Rs.x

<h2><u>☼︎</u><u>Solution :-</u></h2>

\sf x + x \: of \: x\%= 144 \\ \\ \sf \implies x + \frac{x \times x}{100} = 144 \\ \\ \sf \implies {x}^{2} + 100x - 14400 = 0 \\ \\ \sf \implies x(x - 80) + 180(x - 80) = 0 \\ \\ \sf \implies x + 180 = 0 \\ \\ \sf \implies x = - 180 \\ \\ \sf \therefore \:  {\boxed{ \sf \pink{x = 80}}}

<h2><u>Hence: </u></h2>

The cost price of cow =<u>R</u><u>s</u><u>8</u><u>0</u>
