The lower and upper estimates for the distance (in it) that shetraveled during these three seconds are 35.1 and 45.1

What is Speed?

Speed is the time rate at which an object is moving along a path, while velocity is the rate and direction of an object's movement

Since the speed of the runner constantly increases during the three second interval, the lower estimate of the total distance traveled is calculated using the speeds at the beginning of each half second interval. Similarly, the upper estimate of the total distance traveled is calculated using the speeds at the end of each half second interval.

The lower estimate of the total distance traveled is equivalent to:

=0.5(0+6.7+11.2+14.1+18.8+19.4)

=0.5(70.2)

=35.1

The Upper estimate of the total distance traveled is equivalent to:

=0.5(0+6.7+11.2+14.1+18.8+19.4+20)

=0.5(90.2)

=45.1

Hence the lower and upper estimates for the distance (in it) that shetraveled during these three seconds are 35.1 and 45.1

iragen [17]

Answer:

t(32) = 94

Step-by-step explanation:

a. I think s is the independent variable

b I think t or t(s) is the dependent variable since the total amount of money depends on how many treats are sold.

t(32) = 30 + 2(32)

t(32) = 30 + 64

t(32) = 94

I'm a little unsure on the dependent and independent variable but I know the function is correct.

Hope this helps :)
