The given scales which measure the attitude of a person is an ordinal scale such as a Likert scale

What is an ordinal scale?

An ordinal scale provides a report of the rating, order or rank of a data without stating the extent of variation between the categories.

There are many types of rating scales used to directly measure the attitude of a person towards a subject matter.

The Likert scale which is the most widely used rating scale, when applied, consists of a five or seven point scale, that empowers the subject of the survey to express how much they agree (or disagree) with a specified statement.

Generally, five options, graded from, mild to extreme are provided so that the survey subject can indicate (express), their strength of how much they agree with or feel about the statement or question

The assumptions of the Likert scale includes;

 • The ability to measure attitudes.
 • The intensity or strength of an attitude is linear, such that the attitude varies linearly from strongly agree to strongly disagree

Based on the perception of the subject, Likert scale can be used to also measure the variations of the following subject matters;

 • Likelihood of an event or occurrence
 • The importance of a product or service
 • The quality perception of an object
 • The frequency of an event

a traditional square bale of hay is actually in the shape of a rectangular prism. it's dimensions are 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet
miskamm [114]
First calculate the volume of the square bale, in the shae of a rectangular prism. using the formula:
V = l x w x h
where l is the length
w is the width
h is the height

V = 2 x 2 x 4
V = 16 sq ft.
then divide is by the volume of the total volume of hay

  A triangular prism. The rectangular sides are 2.5 millimeters by 8 millimeters, 8 millimeters by 6.5 millimeters, and 8 millim
allsm [11]

Answer:

The triangular prism shown has 2 triangular faces and 3 lateral faces.

 • The triangles are on the ends, and there are three rectangular faces, which are the "lateral" faces because they're not bases.

The area of one triangular face is 7.5 square millimeters.

 • Area of triangle = 1/2 b*h = 1/2* 6*2.5 = 1/2*15 = 7.5 square millimeters

The surface area of the triangular prism is 135 square millimeters.

 • Lateral face area = the sum of the three lateral faces. = 8*6.5 + 8*2.5 + 6*8 = 120 square millimeters
 • Surface area = 2(triangle area) + sum of lateral faces = 2(7.5) + 120 = 135 square millimeters
