Given:

a.) Hannah reads 5/8 page in 2/3 minute.

To be able to determine the unit rate we divide the number of pages Hannah ready by the time she took to read it.

We get,

\text{ }\frac{5}{8}\text{ }\div\text{ }\frac{2}{3}

In dividing fractions, reciprocate the divisor and multiply it to the dividend.

We get,

\text{ }\frac{5}{8}\text{ }\div\text{ }\frac{2}{3}\text{ =  }\frac{5}{8}\text{ x }\frac{3}{2}=\frac{5}{8}\text{ x }\frac{3}{2}

In multiplying fractions, we just directly multiply the numerator by other numerators and the denominator by the other denominators.

\frac{5}{8}\text{ x }\frac{3}{2}\text{ = }\frac{5\text{ x 3}}{8\text{ x 2}}\text{ = }\frac{15}{16}

Therefore, the unit rate is 15/16 pages per minute.

Use the triangle below and the given trigonometric ratio to determine which angle in the triangle below is
4vir4ik [10]
Cosine is the ratio of the adjacent side to the hypotenuse.

In short, we have this equation
cos(angle) = adjacent/hypotenuse

In the case of cos(A) = 18/19.5 we can see that
adjacent = 18
hypotenuse = 19.5

The side of 18 cm is next to angle 2, so the 18 cm side is adjacent to angle 2 (in contrast, the 7.5 cm side is the opposite leg in relation to angle 2)

So that's why the answer is angle 2
In other words, replace the '2' angle marker with 'A' to be able to write cos(A) = 18/19.5

Using your new formula from the previous question ,what is the side length of an equlalertal trangle that has a perimeter of 24.
valina [46]
The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is just 3s as all the sides are, well, equal :) so

P=3s and we are told that P=24.6 so

3s=24.6

s=8.2 cm
