It is a ratio problem...

2 dogs need 144 feet = 2 : 144

Simplify the ratio = 1 : 72

Multiply both sides by 8 (8 dogs) = 1*8 :144*8

Simplify the ratio = 8 : 1152

8 dogs need 1152 feet of fencing

Hope this helps!

What is the exact value of sinF?
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

Option 2

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the sine of F, we have to find the length of the hypotenuse which is 2√13 from the Pythagorean Theorem. Then, sinF = opposite side / hypotenuse = 4 / 2√13 = 4√13 / 26 = 2√13 / 13. Hope this helps!

A total of 60 students in your cousin's school are taking Spanish class this year. This is 25% more than the number of students
alina1380 [7]
Since 25% is 1/4, you multiply 60 by 1/4 to get how many students took Spanish class last year. So, 60 times 1/4 is 60/4, which is 15. Then you subtract 15 from 60 to get 45. So, 45 students took Spanish class last year.
