As for me, the most related sentence to ethos is ''I am clearly, positively, andconscientiously persuaded that it is the true interest of this continent to be so.'' Because it shows exactly how the speaker convinces auditory in his credibility, and according to sentence I have chosen we can extract the words and check with options you shared above.
