There are two formulae for this:

angle/360 X (pi) X (radius squared) = Area of a sector

angle/360 X (pi) X (diameter) = Arc Length of sector
or
angle/360 X (2) X (pi) X (radius) = Arc Length of sector

If you want to work out the perimeter of a sector, use this formula:

Arc Length + (2 X radius) = Perimeter of sector.

△ABC is the image of △XYZ after a sequence of rigid transformations.
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

 D. ∠B≅∠Y, ∠A≅∠X, ∠C≅∠Z

Step-by-step explanation:

Corresponding angles are in the same order in both triangle names. That is, the corresponding angles are ...

 (A, X), (B, Y), (C, Z)

Rigid transformations do not change any angles, so the angles of the image are the same as the corresponding angles of the original.

 ∠A≅∠X, ∠B≅∠Y, ∠C≅∠Z . . . . . matches selection D

What is the equation of the line that is parallel to the given line and passes through the point (−4,−6 )?
riadik2000 [5.3K]
The question says that the line is parallel to the line above, so it is horizontal. When the line is horizontal it will be a 'Y=' Then, you take a look at the y axis and check to see what part of the axis the line is going through. Therefore, you can figure out that the awnser is C. I hope this explanation helps!
