Tell her that you are there for her whenever she needs someone to talk too or help from.

Well usually you should say it gets better, this wont last forever. But you actually have to mean it, not just that but you should be there for her in her toughest times.
ive had my fair share of experiences nd honestly it didnt get better for a long time. so just be positive. also you can go online nd find more information that will help you. wish you luck.
