The correct answer is:

D) To prevent politicians from investing in businesses.

The Sherman Antitrust Act was a measure approved in July of 1890, cataloged as the first Federal act by the US Congress to outlawed monopolistic business practices. Named for Senator John Sherman of Ohio, chairman of the Senate finance committee and the Secretary of the Treasury under President Hayes. Several states had passed similar laws, but they were limited to intrastate businesses.

Cats in the Far East Egypt kept mice away from what?

And when did cat's become domestic?
Oxana [17]

Answer:

Cats are thought to have been brought to Europe by Phoenician traders who smuggled them out of Egypt. ... It is well documented that cats were kept on ships to control vermin during the time of the 15th century CE Age of Discovery and, most likely, they served the same purpose for the Phoenicians.

Archaeologists once believed that cats were domesticated in the time of the pharaohs in ancient Egypt, approximately 4,000 years ago, between 2310 B.C. and 1950 B.C. But in 2004, researchers reported a 9,500-year-old joint burial of a cat and a human on the island of Cyprus.

Lerok [7]

True- the analysis of president trump's inauguration speech studies the areas of word choice, length of sentences, and the use of the first-person singular versus the first-person plural.

Explanation

From Trump's inauguration speech, it can be analyzed that the speech given by him had the shortest sentences used among the inaugural speeches given.

The word choices were simple and like the previous presidents, he chose the use the first-person plural like 'we', 'us' and 'our' over the first-person singular like 'I', 'me' and 'my'.
