Your body uses fats as a supply and store of energy: a gram of fat contains more than double the amount of energy present in a gram of carbohydrate. The steroids in your body include some hormones. Other lipids make up the outer layer of all your cells, and the fatty sheaths that insulate nerve fibres.

Describe two traits that represent a sustainable society and two traits of a unsustainable society
Nikolay [14]
I guess in sustainable society, the two traits would be the the stress of equality in which people can be equal to each other and another trait would be the capitalism that emphasizes the use of renewable energy. In unsustainable society, the use of fossil fuels is one trait in which it cannot be renewed and the second is the homosexual inhabitants in which if once is lost, it is totally gone.

What is an enzyme and how does it work?
Yuliya22 [10]
All of the work being done in side of a cell is being done by enzymes. A bacterial like E.coli has about 1,000 enzymes floating in the cytoplasm at about any time. The purpose of a enzyme in a cell is to allow the cell to carry out any chemical reactions very quickly. the reactions allow the cell to build or take things apart as needed. This is how the cell grows and reproduces. Hopefully my answer helps a little!
