n this project, you will analyze claims about the causes of inherited genetic variation. You will then make your own claim based
valina [46]

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

There are several reasons that genetic variation occurs. Some of them are as follows: mutation, random fertilization, recombination event during meiosis etc. The way in which this variation in genetics is distributed is in a continuous way. In case of the human species, it is reported that 85% of all variation is within a certain population, while the remaining 15% of genetic variation is between populations.

Which statement best describes the relationship between an allele's frequency and its dominance? A) Frequency and dominance are
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

D) Frequency results from environmental stresses, not dominance.

Explanation:

The allele frequency refers to the amount of frequency of a particular allele in a small population whereas the dominance and recessive are the measure of the effects of the allele on the population which decides the trait of an organism.

The frequency and dominance cannot be correlated with each other as the frequency of the allele in a population is the result of the environmental stress which are random and by chances, whereas the effect of dominance is not random but is the result of the favoured trait for survival.

Thus, Option-D is correct.

Give an example of how migration affects population size?
il63 [147K]
Well, depending on how long the migration is, many of the animals (mainly birds) could get sick and die, lowering the population. They could be shot by hunters, lowering the population. The children of the population could get left behind and lose their way, lowering the population. I'm not entirely sure how the population could grow other than them finding and staying with another group of their own kind. hope I was helpful! :)
