Fraternal twins are formed when two different sperm fertilize two different eggs. How do you think physical characteristics, suc

h as hair color and facial features, differ in fraternal twins compared to identical twins? How does the way each type of twins develop contribute to these differences?

Fraternal twin or dizygotic, develop when two different eggs are fertilized by two different sperm. Fraternal twins will not have the same DNA. When twins are a boy and a girl, they are fraternal twins, as they do not have the same DNA. A boy has an XY chromosome while the girl has XX chromosomes.

On the other hand, identical twins happen when one egg fertilized by one sperm, but in the early development, the egg splits into two embryos. Because identical twins come from one egg and one sperm, they have the same DNA.

When it comes to physical characteristics such as hair and facial feature, the identical twins would have the same physical feature as they have the same DNA, they share 100% of the genetic materials. If there are any visible differences it because of external factors such as scars and hairstyles.

Fraternal twins as they come from different egg and sperm, they do not have the same DNA. They may have differences in physical appearance such as skin tone, hair color, and body build.

Identical twins will have the e physical features such as hair color and eye color, because they were formed from the exact same egg and sperm. Fraternal twins are formed from two different eggs and sperm, so those twins will look different from each other.

  Hope this help :))

What is the molarity of 2.3 mol of Kl dissolved in 0.5 L of water
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

4.6\,\,moL\,\,L^{-1}

Explanation:

Molarity refers to a measure of concentration.

Molarity = moles of solute/Litres of solution

Molarity refers to number of moles of solute present in this solution.

In order to find a solution's molarity, use value for the number of moles of solute  and the total volume of the solution expressed in liters

As molarity of 2.3 mol of Kl is dissolved in 0.5 L of water,

Molarity = \frac{2.3}{0.5} =4.6\,\,moL\,\,L^{-1}

Based on this, __electrons__________________ have almost no mass compared to the other particles.
Setler79 [48]

Based on this, Individual electrons in graphene have almost no mass compared to the other particles.

The material graphene consists of a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice.

Electrons flowing through graphene can be scattered from impurities (such as foreign atoms in the lattice), from other electrons and from lattice vibrations known as phonons.

What happens to the electrons in graphene?

According to the researchers, such high values are a result of the photo thermoelectric effect. “It turns out that when you shine a light on graphene, the electrons in the material heat up, and remain hot, while the underlying carbon lattice remains cool,”

Why are electrons massless in graphene?

Yes, low energy electrons and holes in graphene can be thought of as massless because of the linear dispersion of the band structure near the K points.

This is an analogy to the relativistic energy dispersion E2=P2C2+M2C4, which becomes linear in momentum for m=0.
