The answer is C. 16/55 because P(Q and R) = P (Q) . P (R) (for independent events Q and R)

So, the prob. is 4/5 * 4/11 = 16/55 = D.

Simplify. (−5 p 4 z 6 u) 3
ser-zykov [4K]
In this expression, solve the multiplication in the parenthesis.
-5×p×4×z×6×u
since multiplication is commutative,
-5×p×4×z×6×u=-5×4×6×p×z×u= -120pzu

Now multiply this by 3.
(-5p4z6u)3 = (-120pzu)3 = -360pzu

Eddie took out a 14-year loan for $72,000 at an APR of 4.7%, compounded monthly, while Lee took out a 14-year loan for $92,000 a
marishachu [46]
**Eddie: $72000/(14yr*12mo)=428.6$/mo+428.6$*(4.7%)/100%
Eddie pays 428.6$/mo+20.14$/mo. If he pays off his loan 6 years earlier he would save: $20.14*6yr*12mo= $1450.08
**Lee: $92000/(14yr*12mo)=547.62$/mo+547.62$*(4.7%)/100%
Lee pays 547.62$/mo+25.74$/mo. If he pays off his loan 6 years earlier he would save: $25.74*6yr*12mo=$1853.28

So its A. <span>Lee would save more, since he has $20,000 more in principal.</span>

The teacher passed out math books.The length is 10 inches and the width is 8 inches.What is the perimeter of each book?
miv72 [106K]

Answer:  The perimeter of each book is:  " 36 in. " .

__________________________________________________

Step-by-step explanation:

__________________________________________________

Note that the given units are all in "inches (in.)" .

Use the formula for the "perimeter of a rectangle" ;

{which happens to work for a "square" as well;

          since a "square" is a rectangle.}.

__________________________________________________

This is based on the assumption that the book is shaped like a

"rectangle"  (or "square" —which is a rectangle).

__________________________________________________

The formula for the Perimeter of a rectangle is:

  P = 2 L  + 2 w  ;

in which:

P =  the perimeter of the rectangle;

for which we shall solve;   [in "inches (in.)" ] ;

L =  the length of the rectangle = 10 in. (given) ;

w = the width of the rectangle = 8 in. (given) .

___________________________________________________

Now, plug the given values for the "length (L)" and the "width (w)" ;

 as follows:

___________________________________________________

    P = (2 * 10 in.)  +  (2 * 8 in.)  ;

    P = (20 in.)  +  (16 in.)  ;

   P = 36 in.

___________________________________________________

Answer:  The perimeter of each book is:  " 36 in. " .

___________________________________________________

Hope this helps!

    Best wishes in your academic pursuits

            — and within the "Brainly" community!
