Describe why it is important for healthcare providers to be aware of the religious views of their patients.

It is very important for healthcare providers to respect religious views. This is because many religions have certain rules as to what they can and cannot do. For example, for some religions, women cannot look any man in the eyes or it is a sign of disrespect. Other religions ask that women work to heal women and men work to heal men. So, respecting religions will help people feel more comfortable during their stay or checkup and they will not be breaking any rules according to their religions.

Hope this helps :) <3

Because it would be respectful to their patients and it shows them that they really care about them, and it makes their patients feel like they're making their god proud<span />

While hospitalized, an elderly patient with a history of myocardial infarction was noted to have high levels of low-density lipo
Montano1993 [528]

An analysis revealed that a hospitalized elderly patient with a history of MI had high levels of Low-density Lipoprotein (LDL), suggesting a risk of developing Hyperdyslipidemia/ Coronary Artery Disease (Artherosclerosis).

What occurs when there are elevated levels of LDL?

  • LDL cholesterol is known as "bad" cholesterol because it builds up in the walls of your blood vessels, raising your risk of health problems such as a heart attack or stroke.
  • Cholesterol, on the other hand, is not wholly bad.
  • Your body needs it to protect its neurons and manufacture healthy cells and hormones.
  • Some of your cholesterol comes from the foods you eat, while the remainder is made by your liver.
  • Proteins take it to its location since it does not disintegrate in blood.
  • These carriers are known as lipoproteins.
  • A blood test may assess LDL, HDL, and total cholesterol levels.
  • Triglycerides, a kind of fat that retains excess energy from the diet, are also tested.

exis [7]

Answer: The eight areas of wellness are physical wellness, emotional wellness, social wellness, intellectual wellness, environmental wellness, financial wellness, vocational wellness, and spiritual wellness.

Explanation: These can be incorporated into one's daily life by exercising as often as one should along with healthier food choices and drinking more water (physical wellness), expressing oneself in healthy ways when feeling upset and connecting with others (emotional wellness), making an effort to reach out to family and friends for social interactions (social wellness), reading and working your brain more often (intellectual wellness), riding one's bike or walking instead of driving a car and recycling (environmental wellness), using a budget and knowing how to save money for necessary things instead of impulse spending (financial wellness), and trying yoga, meditation, and thinking positively (spiritual wellness).
