Answer:

membranes

Explanation:

Aging is understood to mean the physiological changes that occur over time in multicellular organisms. To further detail, such changes occur in molecules and cells that ultimately impair the functioning of organs and the body in general. The causes of such a period can be divided by considering the genetics, lifestyle and environment in which a person lives. Aging physiologically affects all cells and all systems in the body. As cells get older, membrane cells change, so body tissues have more trouble getting oxygen and nutrients and removing carbon dioxide and waste.

Chloride ions, Cl-, follow actively transported Na+ ions from the nephrons into the blood. Would you not expect the Cl- concentr
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

Bicarbonate ion, HCO3- (which has a similar charge to chloride ions) also follow sodium ions into the blood. Also, potassium ions, K+ are transported into the nephron so some chloride ions and bicarbonate ions remains in the nephron to balance the charge.

Explanation:

Sodium is the primary positively charged electrolyte in extracellular fluid. Most of the solute reabsorbed in the proximal tubule is in the form of sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride. Water is also reabsorbed in order to balance osmotic pressure

When sodium ions are reabsorbed into the blood, few of the substances that are transported with Na+ on the membrane facing the lumen of the tubules include Cl- ions, Ca2+ ions, amino acids, and glucose. Sodium is actively exchanged for K+ using ATP on the basal membrane.

In the distal convoluted tubule, K+ and H+ ions are selectively secreted into the filtrate, while Na+, Cl-, and HCO3- ions are reabsorbed to maintain pH and electrolyte balance in the blood.

Some chloride ions remains in the nephron to balance the charge of the secreted K+ ions and also due to the bicarbonate ions that are removed.

Which condition is a cause of impotency in men
daser333 [38]
Atherosclerosis is a common cause, because there is a lack of blood flow in the person's body, and this can cause a male to be impotent.

Diabetes is also a common cause because once again it causes less blood flow.

In a younger man, a cause could be anxiety. This is because nervousness and being anxious can lessen blood flow.

If you have choices, I suggest choosing one that has to do with less blood flow happening, which that is the main cause.

I hope that this could possibly help you with your studies, and have an amazing day. If you have any more questions, send me a pm.
