These to fractions are equivalent due to 6/8 not being in simplest form. When you simplify 6/8 ( or divide the 6 by 2 and the 8 by 2) it would surprisingly be 3/4. Hope this helped :) feedback is appreciated along with brainliest:-)

Draw each fraction on a piece paper. Example: draw a square and divide it by eighths, then draw another square (same size) and divide it into fourths. on the first square fill in 6 spots out of the 8 that you divided, now draw in 3 on the other square out of the four. You will come to find that they are equivalent because they are doubled.

Please help!
In-s [12.5K]
Answer: B

Explanation: an isosceles triangle has 2 sides that are the same, so if the base angles are both 34° then you can multiply that by 2 to get 68°. After that you know that you're still missing one of the angles so that missing angle is x. The equation you can set up to solve for x is the following: 68° + x° = 180°

Hope this helped! :)

Help me please with that one
zubka84 [21]
The length of the wall would be 52 inches, why because you know that i inch iss 6 ft and because you already have 8 inches go ahead and multiply 8 by 6 and you get 48. you need to figure out what is 2/3 of 6 and it is 4 because 2 goes into 6 three times so 2+2 is 4. let me know if this helps you at all or if you have any questions

Which equation represents the circle described?
bazaltina [42]

We have the equation:

x^2+y^2-8x-6y+24=0

By arranging this equation in terms of x and y, we have:

x^2-8x+y^2-6y=-24 \\ \\

By using the method of completing the square, we have:

x^2-8x+\mathbf{\left(\frac{8}{2}\right)^2}+y^2-6y+\mathbf{\left(\frac{6}{2}\right)^2}=-24+\mathbf{\left(\frac{8}{2}\right)^2}+\mathbf{\left(\frac{6}{2}\right)^2} \\ \\ x^2-8x+\mathbf{16}+y^2-6y+\mathbf{9}=-24+\mathbf{16}+\mathbf{9} \\ \\ \boxed{(x-4)^2+(x-3)^2=1}

The center of this circle is:

(h,k)=(4,3)

So the equation that fulfills the statement is:

(x-4)^2+(y-3)^2=2^2

Finally, the right answer is c)
