You have to do 2 equation systems
Put x in for shirts put y in for shorts so
3X+2Y=42.50
5X+3Y=67.50
Then solve for one variable in one of the equations ex.
3X+2Y=42.50
2Y=42.50-3X
Y=21.25-1.5X
Then plug this in for Y into the other equation
5X+3(21.25-1.5X)=67.50
5X+63.75-4.5X=67.50
.5X=3.75
X=7.5
Plug X into any equation to find Y
3(7.5)+2Y=42.50
22.5+2Y=42.50
2Y=20
Y=10

Which of the following statements is true about the function presented in the table?
Lynna [10]

Answer:

C. The slope of the function is -2 and the y-intercept is 4.

Explanation:

The y-intercept is the point when x = 0. On the table when x is 0, y is 4.

The slope of the function is -2 because the y value is going down by 2 for each +1 of x.

      x │ y

    -2 │ 8

     0 │ 4

  ↓ +1   ↓ -2

      1 │ 2

  ↓ +1   ↓ -2

     2 │ 0
