Answer:

Sympathetic nervous system

Explanation:

The sympathetic nervous system is a component of the autonomic nervous system that is responsible for the involuntary actions of the body, such as breathing, heart rate, and digestion.

The sympathetic nervous system is responsible for the body’s reaction to threat or distress by initiating "fight-or-flight" responses which are mostly physiological.

As Nancy perceives a threat to her safety, causing her to worry the more, the part of her brain called amygdala sends across a distress signal to the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus then sends a signal to the autonomous nervous system, which activates the sympathetic nervous system, prompting the adrenal glands to secrete the epinephrine hormone. The secretion of this hormone into the blood system is what initiates the several physiological responses exhibited by Nancy which are termed "fight-or-flight" responses.

lord [1]

Answer:

Plus end and kinesin.

Explanation:

Three important cytoskeleton components are microtubules, microfilaments and intermediate filaments. Microtubules are the polymer of tubulin and plays an important role in the movement of cell organelles and its structure.

Microtubules shows the process of polymerization and depolymerization at different ends. The plus end shows the polymerization and minus end shows the depolymerization process. The kinesin protein is required for the process of polymerization.

Thus, the correct answer is option (D).

How much energy is produced when the sun
adell [148]

Answer:

E=1.53\times 10^{17}\ J

Explanation:

We need to find the energy produced when Sun converts 1.7 kg of mass into energy. Einstein's mass energy relation is given by :

E=mc^2

c is speed of light

E=1.7\times (3\times 10^8)^2\\\\E=1.53\times 10^{17}\ J

So, energy produced is 1.53\times 10^{17}\ J.

The block shown above is a cube of halite. Each side measures 3 cm. Find the volume of the cube of halite.
ddd [48]

The block shown above is a cube of halite. Each side measures 3 cm. Then the volume of the cube of halite is 27 cm³.

Explanation:

Step 1:

All the sides of the cubes are equal.

Step 2:

Given,

a= 3 cm

Step 3:

Volume of the cube = a³

                                 = 3 × 3 × 3

                                 = 27 cm³

Hence, The volume of the cube is 27 cm³
