Hyponatremia is a condition that occurs when the concentration of sodium in the blood is too low. Sodium is critical in homeostasis because it maintains the fluid balance. In other words, it helps control the amount of water that circulates in the body. When sodium levels are low it becomes diluted and as a result, the body will have an excess of water, specifically extracellular fluid.

The excess fluid will have nowhere to go, so it goes into the cell. When this happens, it causes the cells to swell, which can lead to several health problems and some of them are life-threatening like cerebral edema.

Answer:

Explanation:

For normal homeostasis , the regulation of extracellular fluid (usually taken care of by the endocrine system)within the body must be appropriate. In patients where the sodium balances are disturbed face the issue of electrolyte deficiency commonly known as Hyponatremia. Hyponatremia adversely affects the osmoregulation and lead to aggression as the pressure due to hypoosmolality (due to Hyponatremia) gets undulated. The internal stability within the body gets disturbed due to the imbalance in the physio-chemical processes and thus arises a condition where hyponatremia disrupt homeostasis

Burka [1]

Answer:

a) false

Explanation:

It is possible to sequence the entire genome, but not as one long molecule. By using the Massive parallel signature sequencing (MPSS), the latest technology available until now, the DNA is then fragmented into small pieces in order to be sequenced. In this technique, que marked sequences are obtained from several copies from cDNA and binded in long chains in order to create concatemers, which will be then sequenced.
