Is there a picture? If so, can you please add it? Without seeing it, the slope would be 1/2 because it will always be the exact opposite graph as \frac{-1}{2}

Hope this helps.

The line below are parallel so they have same slopes

If the green line has a slope of -1/2, the slope of the red line is also - 1/2

In a random sample of five mobile devices, the mean repair cost was $90.00 and the standard deviation was $14.00. Assume the
aniked [119]

Answer:

The correct option is;

B. With 95 percent confidence, it can be said that the repair cost is between the bounds of the confidence interval

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we have the formula for confidence interval, CI given as follows;

CI=\bar{x}\pm t\frac{s}{\sqrt{n}}

Where:

\bar x = Sample mean = $90.00

s = Sample standard deviation = $14.00

n = Sample size = 5

t = z value for the confidence level = 2.7764 from z-score relations

Plugging in the values, we have;

CI=90.00\pm 2.7764 \frac{14.00}{\sqrt{5}}

Which gives the CI as 72.6167 to 107.38.

Can anyone figure this out for me please? It would be greatly appreciated.

Check the picture below.

now, to get how much is the area of the tiled section, we simply get the area of the whole pool, 53x26, which includes the tiles, and then subtract the area without the tile, the rectangle in the middle, and what's leftover, is the area of the tiled area.

\bf 53-4\frac{1}{2}-4\frac{1}{2}\implies 53-9\implies \boxed{42}
\\\\\\
26-4\frac{1}{2}-4\frac{1}{2}\implies 26-9\implies \boxed{17}
\\\\\\
\textit{so the area of the rectangle in the middle is}\implies 42\cdot 17\implies 714
\\\\\\
\textit{and the area of the whole pool is}\implies 53\cdot 26\implies 1378

\bf \stackrel{\textit{area of the whole pool}}{1378}~~-~~\stackrel{\textit{area of the middle rectangle}}{714}\implies \stackrel{\textit{area of the tiles}}{664}\\\\
-------------------------------\\\\
\textit{we know that is }\$5\frac{1}{2}\textit{ for a foot of tile, then}\stackrel{\textit{price of the tiles}}{664\cdot 5\frac{1}{2}}\implies 3652

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{a}{4}=\frac{b}{7}\\a=\frac{4b}{7} \\\frac{a-b}{b} =\frac{\frac{4b}{7}-b }{b} \\=\frac{4b-7b}{7b}\\ =\frac{-3b}{7b}\\ =\frac{-3}{7}
