A vertical line is drawn through a normal distribution at z = 0.80. What proportion of the distribution is on the right-hand side of the line?

Z = 0.80 just to the right of z= 0.  Note that the area to the right of z=0 is 0.5.  The area to the right of 0.80 is smaller.  

One way of answering this question is to use a calculator:

normalcdf(0.80, 1000) = 0.212 (answer)
