18? I would think it would be 18

18 because if you get a cookie and you get one type and you keep doing that until you reach 18 then you have 18 different types of cookies. That's what I think, I'm only in middle school so I'm not really Einstein here. :P

An athlete's speed on her bike is 14mph faster than her average speed running. She can bike 31.5 miles in the same time that it
scoundrel [369]
You would cross multiply.
14 over 31.5
and X over 10.5
10.5 times 14 is 147
divide that by 31.5 which is 4 1/3
and that is how fast she can run
4 1/3 mph

Helppppp plsss solve for x
pogonyaev
The two triangles we can see in the diagram are similar, which means that their measurements are proportional. Line MN on the larger triangle MNP is 71.5ft long, and its corresponding line, MA, on the smaller triangle is 71.5-22= 49.5ft long. This means that the scale factor from the bigger to the smaller triangle is 71.5/49.5=13/9.
If line MP on the bigger rectangle is 97.5ft long, then its corresponding line, MB, must be 97.5÷13/9=67.5 ft long.
Therefore, x=67.5 ft

Hey friend please solve this question
Bas_tet [7]

yes and yes.

you're told ∠A=∠B. this means angle A and B are equal. so the value you get for cos A will be the same as the value you'll get for cos B

also, the value you get for tan A will be the same as the value you'll get for tan B

if that doesn't make sense you could also draw the triangle and solve for A and B.

you're told it's a right angled triangle meaning one of the angles = 90

you're told that C is that angle so if C is a right angle, angle C=90

the sum of all the angles in a triangle = 180

so angle A+ angle B + angle C = 180

angle A+ angle B + 90 = 180

angle A+ angle B = 180 - 90

angle A+ angle B = 90

  • A and B could be any value but you're told angle A = angle B

        angle A+ angle B = 90

you can divide 90 by 2 because A and B are equal. that will give you 45 for A and 45 for B

or

  • angle A+ angle B = 90

        since angle A = angle B,

1. you can substitute angle A with angle B like this

  angle B+ angle B = 90

  2 angle B = 90

  angle B = 90/2

  angle B=45; ∴ angle A is also 45 ( because angle A= angle B)

2. or you could substitute angle B with angle A

   angle A+ angle A = 90

2 angle A = 90

  angle A = 90/2

  angle A =45; ∴ angle B is also 45 ( because angle A= angle B)

Now you know what A and B are,

sin A = sin 45; sin B = sin 45

sin 45 = sin 45

tan A = tan 45; tan B = tan 45

tan 45 = tan 45

Answer:

600

Step-by-step explanation:

How to do it in your head (secret):

3*2 = 6

add 2 zeros after the 6 since there are 2 zeros in total in this equation 20 and 30 so:
