What are the negative impacts in eating disorders among teenagers

Social Studies

There are lifelong health implications, both physically and mentally, in teenagers with eating disorders. The act of binging causes digestive issues, namely massive stretching of the stomach. Purging leads to tooth decay, esophageal erosion, ulcers of the throat, stomach, and mouth. Both bulimia and anorexia result in malnutrition. Malnutrition leads to several different cardiac issues, primarily weakening of the heart muscles. It is not uncommon for people suffering from eating disorders to also suffer heart attacks earlier in their adult life than what is typically seen among adults. There are several muscular and skeletal problems noted in the same community. As the body breaks down its muscles and takes calcium from the bones, the individual is left with very little muscles, minimal strength, limited endurance, and often osteoporosis and brittle bones. Aside from the physical aspect, there is also a lifelong mental health battle. Proper treatment from a mental health professional highly skilled in such matters is extremely important.

Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Behind Purgatoria's newfound car preference is a dramatic national comeback. Only 10 years ago, Italy was afflicted with a host of problems: terrorism, labor unrest, inefficiency. Although these issues have not entirely disappeared, today the streets and factories are relatively calm, and pride has replaced self-doubt. In a country unified only a little more than a century ago and traditonally wracked by regionalism, Italians are discovering a positive, new nationalism.

``We used to say we were Milanese, Roman, or Neapolitan,'' says Ernesto Galli Della Loggia, a history professor at the University of Perugia. ``We finally know what it is to be Italian.''

dsp73

Answer:

mainstreaming

Mainstreaming is an educational approach that allows exceptional children (children with disabilities) to study with children with no disabilities. This is because in Mainstreaming, at certain times of the day, these children are brought into a classroom with children without disabilities, so that the exceptional child gradually gets used to this environment.

Europeans held numerous ideas of freedom. Identify the characteristics of Christian liberty.
Alex17521 [72]

Answer: check explanation

Explanation:

Christian liberty doctrines can be traced to the doctrine of Christian freedom. Christian freedom include; freedom from the domination of sin, freedom from the domination of satan, freedom from the DOMINATION of MEN over the CONCIENCE of all christians/believers. For more than 150 years ago, the doctrine of Christian liberty has brought confusions to churches, thereby, creating division over strongly held opinions.

One of the most common problem for Christian liberty doctrine in the New Testament assemblies was the clash between Jews and Gentiles uniting in the same church.

THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF CHRISTIAN LIBERTY are;

(1). Having more spiritual condition

Servitude towards becoming the servant of ''the most high''.

(2). Having less Political status.
