Tribal representatives must answer first and foremost to other tribal members and politicians. Since they are often elected, they must carry out the wishes of tribal members honestly and accurately. Second, tribal representatives are responsible to the media like all United States politicians. The media's job is to bring information to the public, and if the tribal representatives are not performing their duties, they will bring the information to the public for the public to judge. Fatima generalizes that all men are irresponsible players, cheaters, and liars. when it comes to men, fatima may be applying ___
Mariulka [41]

The correct answer would be option D, Stereotypes.

Fatima generalizes that all men are irresponsible players, cheaters and liars. When it comes to men, Fatima may be applying Stereotypes.

Explanation:

In simple words, Stereotype is the image of something or someone because of his or her belonging to a specific group.

There are many examples to understand Stereotypes.

  1. It is said that women are bad drivers. This is a stereotype about women, whereas the reality is that the women are more conscious drivers.
  2. Women are more caring than men. This is again a stereotype.
  3. Men can handle stress more. It is again a stereotype.
  4. Cities are more polluted, which is a stereotype.
  5. Men are the finance managers at home.

All of the above mentioned statements are the examples of stereotype, which are just the image and perception due to belonging to a certain group.

So similarly, in the given question, when Fatima generalizes that all men are players, irresponsible, cheaters and liar, she is basically stereotyping all on the basis of their gender. If a person is a male, then according to Fatima's image about men, that person must be irresponsible, liar, cheater, etc. This is called Stereotyping.

hat is popular sovereignty? Why was this an important new idea at the time of the Constitution was written?
KiRa [710]
Popular Sovereignty is the idea that power comes from the People. Prior to the Constitution, Power came from a King, Queen, or special class (nobility or priests). Power was concentrated within one person. The idea that a common person had the same rights as one from a noble class was revolutionary and went against all the teachings of the day. The idea that common people had the power to overthrow a ruler for being corrupt was even more revolutionary. The Constitution was often referred to as the "Grand Experiment" because none of the Founding Fathers were sure if it would actually work.
