Answer:

The foreign policy tool used by the United States in its dealings with Cuba from the 1960s to the mid-2010s was economic sanctions.

Explanation:

As a result of the Cuban revolution in 1959, relations between America and Cuba deteriorated greatly and have since been marked by tension and confrontation. The United States has no formal diplomatic relations with Cuba and, by virtue of its position as a superpower, maintains a trade embargo that makes it illegal for US companies to do business with Cuba. The US diplomatic representation in Cuba is handled by the Division of American Interests in Havana and there is a similar Section for Cuban Interests in Washington, D.C. Both are officially part of the respective embassies of Switzerland. The US imposed a ban on trade after the revolution due to Cuban nationalization of American enterprises.

Terms like intelligent, creative, reliable, and persistent exemplify _______ dispositions.
balandron [24]

Answer:

These terms exemplify central dispositions.

Explanation:

According to Gordon Allport, central dispositions, or central traits, are characteristics which tend to be present in almost every individual. They tend to be the foundation of one's personality, being the base or root. These tend to describe an individual's overall character.

Allport believes everyone has 5-10 central traits, to a certain extent.

For example, an individual can describe him/herself as being creative, persistent or reliable. This means these tend to be the individual's core traits.

How made money and why the color
brilliants [131]

Answer:

Explanation:

No one knows for sure who first invented such money, but historians believe metal objects were first used as money as early as 5,000 B.C. Around 700 B.C., the Lydians became the first Western culture to make coins. Other countries and civilizations soon began to mint their own coins with specific values. The federal government began issuing paper currency during the American Civil War. As photographic technology of the day could not reproduce color, it was decided the back of the bills would be printed in a color other than black. Because the color green was seen as a symbol of stability, it was selected.
