The answer is A. 11 x 17 - 11x because you would use the <u>distributive property</u> and multiply the number on the outside (11) by everything on the inside (17 and -x)

For this, they are asking you to multiply both 17 and -x by 11. B and C only multiply one term by 11, and D doesn't multiply at all. A is the only one that fits!

Question 2: Please help I do not understand this question.
Svetradugi [14.3K]

The measurement of AB is 16.23.

Solution:

Given ACB is a right angled triangle.

AC = 10, ∠C = 90° and ∠A = 52°.

cos θ ≈ 0.616

Here AC is the base and AB is Hypotenuse.

To find the length of AB:

$\cos\theta=\frac{\text{Base}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}

$\cos 52^\circ=\frac{10}{AB}

$0.616=\frac{10}{AB}

Do cross multiplication, we get

$AB=\frac{10}{0.616}

AB = 16.23

Hence the measurement of AB is 16.23.

A quadratic function and an exponential function are graphed below. Which graph most likely represents the quadratic function? (
Anton [14]

Answer:

I have no Idea where this question is trying to go because a quadratic function IS an exponential function. The exponent is 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the exponent on the exponential function is greater than 2, it will increase faster in the first quadrant than a quadratic equation.

If the exponent on the exponential function is less than 2, the quadratic equation will increase faster in the first quadrant
