Answer:

This is being managed by the ministry of environment(MINAM).It manages this through the national committee on climate.

The climate change in Peru is vulnerable and needs high adaptations. There is high contribution to global warming from the melting of its glaciers located on at the Andean peaks.

Fishery and agriculture at low-levels coastal regions are prone to high sea rise which may destroy the economic and available infrastructures present.

This institution of the governments is making frantic effort to reduces this vulnerability, by ensuring reduction in the green house gas emission.

Besides the country is embracing low carbon paths in an attempt to conserve the forest carbon reserve, with further reduction in emission from fuel combustion and other industrial sectors.

Describe the 2 divisions of the Circulatory System, and discuss the components of each.
baherus [9]
The cardiovascular system is a system of organs that facilitates the circulation of blood to all parts of the body. Blood is required to reach all living cells as the blood carries essential elements for cell life and regulation, such as nutrients, amino acids, electrolytes, oxygen and hormones. The blood also has a role in maintaining body temperature, fighting diseases, maintaining a stable pH and maintaining homeostasis. The blood also carries carbon dioxide away from the cells. The cardiovascular system consists of a network of arteries, veins and capillaries, as well as the heart, which acts to pump blood around the body, Blood leaves the heart via arteries and return via veins. The lymphatic system transports lymph, typically at a much slower rate than blood. The lymphatic system is an important part of the immune system. Unlike the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system is not a closed system. The cardiovascular system processes a lot of blood each day through capillary filtration, which separates the blood cells from the plasma. Not all plasma is re-absorbed into the blood vessels, and the lymphatic system is responsible for returning the remaining plasma to the cardiovascular system.

What are the nephrons? How are they utilized in filtration of the blood?
r-ruslan [8.4K]

What are the nephron?

Nephrons are the functional unit of the kidney. There are about two million nephrons in each of our kidneys. Each nephron has a network of glomelural capillaries called glomerulus where blood filtration occurs, and the renal tabule which is where the filtered fluid is converted to urine.

How they work?

The nephrons act as a filter, cleaning our blood. Unwanted metabolites like urea and creatinine are taken from the blood, as well as high amounts of sodium. The filtered fluid flows from inside Bowman's capsule (epithelial cells surrounding the glomerulus) and from there into the proximal tubule (see attached figure at the end). From the tubule, fluid flows into several other ducts until it reaches the ducts where collectors will empty into the renal pelvis.
