Answer:

b) Immediate isolation is required

Explanation:

Chicken pox is caused by Varicalla zoster virus. The diseases is highly contagious and easily spread through direct contact with infected person by uninfected person who had had no prior exposure to the virus. Although people with prior exposure can spread it and recover, it is rare. Also people without vaccination can equal contact the disease.

The disease is contagious from day 1 to day 2 before the manifestation of rash  and a patient is commonly isolated from a week after isolation to avoid the outbreak of the disease, and it takes 2 to 3 weeks for the uninfected person with contact with infected person to develop the virus

Mary is 14 years old. Her resting heart rate 70 beats per minute. Calculate 50% of Mary maximum heart rate to fine her target he
kozerog [31]

Answer:

Mary's target heart rate  is 103 beats per minute (bpm).

Explanation:

The maximum heart rate (MHR) is the rate at which the human heart of a given person reaches the highest demands. At rest, the heart rate is about 60 to 80 beats per minute.

MHR = 220 - age

So, for Mary: MHR = 220 - 14 = 206 beats per minute (bpm)

Now we can calculate Mary's target heart rate:

Target heart rate = MHR * 50% = 206 * 0.5 = 103  beats per minute (bpm)

Hope this helped!
